BySo I’ve been back to the SportsMed Doc to review my MRI Arthrogram results and it was about a 2 minute consult. “Yes you have one tear here and probably another one up here” he shows me on the skeleton in his room. “So I think it’s time we sent you to see someone”. That was pretty much it. They made an appointment for me with an Orthopaedic surgeon (one of two that can do this particular surgery here in Christchurch) and I have to wait til 2nd March to see him, typical for orthopaedics.
On Tuesday night Hamish fell down the stairs and broke his big toe. Talk about steal my thunder with injuries (he also subluxated his shoulder a couple of weeks ago), his x-rays look WAY more impressive than mine lol. So he’s the one hobbling round on crutches and it’s my turn to give him hell
I’m such a bitch, but he deserves it, I give as good as I get.
The cats had their vaccinations last night. It was funny seeing them sitting in the cage at work, it’s different when they’re your own. Cookie is such a bitch, she’s a very determined little monster and she hates being restrained for anything, forget the vet looking in her ears, she just wants to climb up my shoulder and run away. Monty on the other hand just sits there on the exam table and soaks up the attention he’s getting, typical Burmese.
Well it looks like another crappy summer’s day, I wonder when the sun will come out, maybe we’ll have to wait for winter lol
